As with most things this year, America’s birthday will inevitably look a little bit different this year. Despite large celebrations being cancelled, there are still lots of activities to enjoy while staying closer to home. Labor Day is the annual holiday in the United States that celebrates the achievements of workers. Labor Day has its origins in the labor union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
