METALCON 2023 returns to Las Vegas this year and we want YOU to take “center stage” in our nation’s “City of Lights.” We are seeking individuals who want to educate, engage, inspire and present material in ways that will enhance the attendees’ experience. The deadline is approaching to submit your topic in our call for presentations. Topics that address real-world, metal-related opportunities and challenges toward a variety of disciplines of the metal construction community with a special interest in technical aspects, building codes, case studies, and sustainability will be considered.
NEW FOR 2023: All topics submitted will be considered for BOTH in-person education at METALCON 2023 AND for our year-round METALCONLive! programming.
SUBMIT YOUR PRESENTATION BY FEBRUARY 14.

In-person educational sessions at METALCON take place in Learning Centers and at the Main Stage Theater, all located inside the Exhibit Hall. Sessions are 60 minutes in length (including Q&A) and must be targeted to address the real-world, metal-related challenges and opportunities of these audiences:
- General and sub-contractors in commercial, residential and institutional construction
- Designers and architects
- Engineers
- CEO’s, GM’s, owners, presidents, principals
- Sales and Marketing Leaders
- Project Managers
- Facilities managers
- Foreman/Crew Leaders
- Installers/Technicians
- Information Technology Personnel
- HR/Workforce Development Personnel
METALCON also has limited opportunities for extended in-depth workshops. These courses should be certifications, extensive trainings, and/or specialty courses. When submitting a workshop, please list the title as “course title – WORKSHOP” so the reviewer knows it should be considered a workshop.
We encourage presentations that employ a variety of delivery formats such as case-studies, panel discussion, product compare & contrast, Point-Counterpoint, small group discussions/roundtables, hands-on learning, and tips, tricks and hacks. All courses should be eligible for AIA LU or HSW credits. METALCON will apply for and maintain all course accreditation.
Visit our Call for Presentations for additional details and submission form. Deadline to submit your presentation topic is February 14.
All topics will be reviewed by a panel of experts and speakers will be notified in April of if their course(s) has been accepted. Please no “commercial presentations” or “sales pitches.”
METALCON is produced by PSMJ Resources Inc. and sponsored by the Metal Construction Association.
