The Power of Networking: Company Industry, Community – Thursday, October 13 at 3 pm followed by Social Networking Bingo — Main Theatre
Based on their new book “The Power of Networking: Company Industry, Community,” Heidi Ellsworth and Karen Edwards of RoofersCoffeeShop will host a panel discussion with guest speakers, LeeAnn Slattery with ATAS International and Arty Molinari with Tremco CPG, Inc. Using their new workbook as a guide, Heidi and Karen will cover how to harness the power of networking and improve networking skills in this interactive workshop. They will explore how company, industry and community networking opportunities along with live events, associations, online communities, press and social media can be effective to build networks and utilize them for career, company and sales success. Immediately following the session, stay for Social Networking Bingo, a fun, live social networking event. All session participants will receive a complimentary copy of the book. This session is FREE and included with all registrations.
From Employee to Manager: Transitioning to a Management Role – Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 3:00 pm, followed by Networking Happy Hour — Main Theatre
As part of the show’s brand new Future Leaders of METALCON, this exclusive education session is designed for rising stars, up-and-comers, management trainees, apprentices and others, roughly ages 40 and under, who are ready to take their careers to the next level. Created in close partnership with METALCON ’22 keynote speaker and acclaimed career counselor Dr. Melissa Furman, METALCON Future Leaders will give current trainees, apprentices, and managers the advice and skills they need to become tomorrow’s principals, executives, and entrepreneurs. A dedicated happy hour and networking event will follow the session. This program is FREE and included with all registrations.
This pavilion is sponsored by the Metal Construction Association’s IMP Alliance, a group of industry leaders dedicated to the promotion and growth of the use of IMPs in the construction marketplace. METALCON is the only show where you will find seven leading companies that produce 85% to 90% of all IMPs shipped and produced in the U.S. and Canada all under “one roof.” Each day they will feature “Insulated Metal Panels – Installation and Handling Best Practices,” a special seminar and demo to discover best practices and common mistakes made during unloading, storage, and handling of installation of insulated metal panels. This pavilion and education session is FREE to all registrants.
The Metal Building Marketplace
This dedicated pavilion features top metal building and components manufacturers, creating a convenient hub for contractors, the design and architectural community, and others to discover the solutions these companies can provide. Located on the show floor and FREE to all registrants.
The Architect’s Experience – “Show within a Show” for architects and design professionals
Featuring a series of events over two days focused on the application of metal in design and construction, this “show-within-a-show” will help architects, designers, specifiers and engineers breathe new life into projects and solve a wide variety of architectural, structural, environmental and building performance challenges―all through the use of metal. Exclusive education sessions specific to design professionals, will feature respected thought leaders, award-winning architects and industry experts. Additionally, a special architects-only guided floor tour is planned. The Architect’s Experience at METALCON sponsored by ATAS International is produced by PSMJ Resources, Inc., in partnership with the Metal Construction Association and AEC Daily.
