Larry A. Swaney Award
Named for one of MCA’s founders and its first president, this award has been bestowed upon outstanding industry professionals for their contributions to the success of the association and the betterment of the metal construction industry. This year’s award goes to Mark James.

Since designing his first roof system in the late 1970s, James has helped successfully complete over 30 million square feet of sloped-frame-over-flat-roof retrofit projects. “Mark’s contributions have been nothing short of remarkable,” said Karper. “We’re fortunate to have him in our industry.”

On behalf of Team METALCON, we wish both Jonathon and Mark a sincere and well deserved congratulations! METALCON would not be where it is today without the contributions from these individuals.
